How did you meet?
Suveera and I met at my cousin’s wedding about five years ago. We started of as really good friends for a year or so, until the day he asked me out. We dated for two years, before he popped the question.

Why did you pick the particular cities?
We got married at the gurdwara in Bangkok, while the other celebrations took place in Hua Hin. We wanted a destination wedding that was by the sea and Hua Hin was our choice.

How many guests were there?
Around 500 people

What is your best memory from the wedding?
I really can’t give you the best memory because all of it was amazing, each and every moment. Being able to celebrate with our families and friends was truly memorable; they really showered us with lots of love and blessings

What is the best wedding advice you can give engaged couples?
Whatever you do, don’t stress on the smaller things, let it go and have fun! It’s your day, soak in every minute of it and smile! Planning a wedding can be stressful, but it can also be a lot of fun and a learning experience.

Functions:
We had one function in Bangkok and the remaining three were in Hua Hin. The different themes were Rustic, Neon and Colours of Fall. DJs Sparsh, Sajaan, and Antonio, a saxophonist provided the entertainment.

Wedding Planner:
Suveera and I decided that we wanted to organise our wedding without a planner. We contacted the vendors ourselves and to be honest it was fun. We learned a lot about planning a wedding, and how detailed it can be. I think we did an amazing job together creating our wedding, and it was everything we wanted. We did have Shanaya Celebrations coordinate the events on each day and they were a huge help to all of us.
