How did you meet?
We met through common friends and then became friends at the gym.
Tell us about the proposal.
I was on was a family holiday in Prague when Saahil surprised me and proposed.
Why did you choose Thailand?
We chose Thailand because it’s a short, direct flight from Mumbai, and there are multiple flight options.
Why did you pick the particular city?
It was a nice beach side town away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok.
Which hotels did you choose for your functions?
All our functions were held at various venues in Dusit Thani and we did not have to go hunting outside the hotel premises.

What is your best memory from your wedding?
Just before getting onto the mandap I was crying because it suddenly hit me that I wouldn’t be living with my parents anymore. Saahil, who was already up on the mandap at the time, got off, came to me, held my hand and walked with me to the mandap.
What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples?
Just enjoy all the planning, don’t stress at the end of the day it all works out for the best and make the most of the journey.
Function: The four days of our wedding were packed with functions. On the first day, it was mostly with the family. On second day we had a welcome lunch for family, relatives and friends. This was followed by four main events: mehendi, sangeet, the wedding and the reception. The entertainment included a singing dholwala, themed dancers, a magician, caricaturist, a live band, and aerialists.
